This painting is inspired by the Medieval Garden at Lassay Les Chateaux, in Pays de la Loire, Northern France. The painting was started En Plein Air and then finished back in the studio, and you can see the garden that inspired it in Week 2 of my weekly garden blogs, available on my website.
