Helen Alice's current body of work explores the hidden structures that underpin our experience of the natural world. Inspired by years spent studying gardens and landscapes across the UK and France, her paintings move beyond representation to investigate the relationship between colour, pattern and place.

Helen creates expressive abstract and semi-abstract landscapes that reveal the rhythms, proportions and interconnectedness found throughout nature. Rather than using geometry as decoration, she employs it as a visual language through which to explore harmony, balance and our innate connection to the living world.

Her paintings are rooted in direct observation but transformed through memory, intuition and emotion. Rich layers of colour, energetic mark-making and geometric structures combine to capture not only the appearance of a landscape, but the sense of wonder, stillness and spiritual presence experienced within it.

At the heart of Helen's practice is a belief that beautiful landscapes and gardens offer more than aesthetic pleasure—they provide places of reflection, restoration and connection. Through her work she invites viewers to look beyond the surface of nature and discover the hidden patterns that unite people, place and the natural world in a shared language of beauty, optimism and hope.
