This painting is inspired by Chiswick House and Gardens in London. I visited the garden a couple of times throughout 2022 and the one of the visits is featured in Week 21 as part of my weekly garden blogs available on my website. The painting focusses on the shapes and colours that dominate the gardens as well as the Ionic Temple that sits along the river. The diptych follows the rules of the Golden Section, which has been used for centuries in art, but also reflects the mysteries of nature.
