This painting was a commission for a gardener and shows her garden in summer in all its glory. It includes her golden labrador Dougal, standing, watching, adding a calming influence to the riot of colour around him. The painting is part of my Garden series, where I visit a garden each week in 2022 to seek inspiration for large abstract works.
