Bagnoles de L'Orne is close to my studio in Northern France, and a place I visit regularly. The architecture is quite unique in Bagnoles, with an almost 'alpine' feel and many of the buildings have a red/white chequered effect. The lake in the centre of the town dominates and visitors as well as locals wander around it's calming waters. The River Vee flows through Bagnoles, but the lake takes centre stage.
