This greetings card is from an original oil painting created following a walk on Valentine's Day through the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, on the fell tops above a small hamlet called Kirkhaugh. It is painted in oil on canvas, and also contains Peat - taken from the fell itself. It is painted using a limited palette, to embrace the isolation of the area and the time - once more in lockdown and unable to travel due to Covid 19
