This greetings card is from an original painting inspired by the stained glass in the small church at Les Chapelles, Northern France, close to where I have a studio. The interior of the church is very simple, with white washed walls and a cool escape from summer sun - but this means the light on the stained glass is even more vivid and I have tried to capture its luminosity in this painting.
