This painting is inspired by the garden in Les Gaigneres, Northern France, where I have a studio. The gardens here are wild and untamed, with a 'sauvage' beauty. It is part of my 2022 Garden series, where I visit a garden each week to seek inspiration for paintings. My weekly video vlogs feature the garden and the inspiration for the painting.
